Approving requests for changes to opportunities
You can approve requests for changes to opportunities only if your business administrators has made you an approver.
Prior to approvers being able to approve a request, a user must have submitted the request for approval. After the user submits the request, the approval steps are assigned to the appropriate approvers and the approvers are notified about the request. Approvers can also see the approval tasks in their My Approval Tasks tab on the Schedule workspace.
If the business administrator has configured a business process template to support notification actions with quick responses, approvers with the appropriate privileges can use the Approve or Reject quick responses in notifications to respond to approval requests. They can also approve a request from the Opportunities workspace using the following procedure:
The request is approved and the approver requestor is notified.
