Managing Document Manager folders
The folder system in the Document Manager workspace is very similar to Microsoft Windows Explorer.
In the Document Manager workspace, in the Folders tab, click a folder to view its contents in the Documents list. To expand a folder that has sub-folders, click the Expand tree node button beside it. To collapse a folder, click the Collapse tree node button beside it.
Creating Document Manager folders
Creating folders in the Document Manager helps you to organize your documents.
To create a folder:
Your new folder is created.
Deleting Document Manager folders
You can only delete folders that are empty. Therefore, folders containing documents or sub-folders cannot be deleted.
To delete a folder:
The folder is deleted.
Moving Document Manager folders
You can move a folder by changing its parent folder.
To move a folder:
The folder is moved.
Folder details and security
The view and edit security of a folder will apply to all of the folder's contents. If you cannot view a folder, you will not be able to view its contents either. Similarly, if you do not have permission to edit a folder, you will not be able to change the contents of the folder.
To modify a folder's details and security:
The folder's modified details and security settings are saved.
