Portal user privileges
Typically, if you want users to be able to personalize their workspaces, you should grant them the privileges contained by the gPortalPersonalizeUser privilege group.
Privileges provided by the gPortalPersonalizeUser privilege group
| Privilege name | Ability granted |

| PortletLibraryAccess | Allows users to access the portlet library. |
| PortletView | Allows users to query the portlet registry for available portlets. |
| WorkspaceCustomize | Allows users to customize workspaces. |
| WorkspaceLinkManage | Allows users to create workspace tabs. This privilege must be granted in order for users to open new workspace tabs or dock workspaces. |
| WorkspaceUpdate | Allows users to update workspaces. |
