Managing the order of custom fields on the Customize workspace

You can create a custom sort order for custom fields on the Customize workspace. The new order displays in Detail Reports and contact profiles that use your custom fields.

Your changes to the sort order for your custom fields will override the master sort order created by system administrators.

To manage the order of custom fields:

  1. Navigate to the Customize workspace and select the Custom Fields tab.
  2. In the custom field list, select a custom field that you want to change the order of.
  3. Click the Up button  to move the custom field up in the order or the Down button  to move the custom field down in the order.
  4. Click the Save button  to save your changes.

The order of the custom fields is now changed and the sort order changes for these custom fields are shown in the Profile subtab for contacts that use your custom fields.
