Adding attachments to stage steps

Add an attachment to a task or document stage step in an opportunity template.

To add attachments to a stage step:

  1. Navigate to the Customize workspace.
  2. In the Opportunity Management tab, click the Templates subtab.
  3. In the templates list, select the opportunity template in which you want to add attachments.
  4. In the Stages tab, select the stage whose stage steps you want to add attachments to.
  5. In the Stage Steps tab, click the corresponding Edit button for the step. The Add Opportunity Stage Step dialog opens.
  6. In the Attachments tab, click the Select button in the Document Manager Items area. The Select Document dialog opens.
  7. Click the Select button in the Folder field and select your document's location, or enter a search string in the Search field. The applicable documents appear.
  8. Select a document. Document details appear in the Details area, and a preview appears in the Attachments zone.
  9. Click OK to add the attachment and close the Select Document dialog.
  10. Click OK to save the stage step. The Add Opportunity Stage Step dialog closes.

The attachment is added to the task or document stage step.
