Deleting stage steps

Delete stage steps that you no longer require.

If the opportunity template has been used to create an opportunity in NexJ CRM and tasks or documents have been created for a stage in the opportunity, then you cannot delete stages steps for that stage. You can view whether an opportunity template has been used in an opportunity by filtering by template on the Opportunities workspace. For more information on filtering opportunities, see Viewing opportunities on the Opportunities workspace.

To delete stage steps in a stage:

  1. Navigate to the Customize workspace.
  2. In the Opportunity Management tab, click the Templates subtab.
  3. In the templates list, select the opportunity template that you want to delete stage steps from.
  4. In the Stages tab, select the stage whose stage steps you want to delete.
  5. In the Stage Steps tab, select the down arrow beside the stage step you want to delete. The step expands to display step details.
  6. Click the Delete button .
    A confirmation dialog opens.

  7. In the confirmation dialog, click Delete.

    This action cannot be undone.

    The stage step is deleted and the confirmation dialog closes.

The stage steps for the stage in the opportunity template are deleted.
