Formula fields

Fields are named statements that you use in field control expressions to pull information from other questions and contact profiles. When you add field controls to a question in a business process or call script form, you might want to refer to data from another question, or you might want to refer to data about the contact that the form is being used with. Fields allow you to access and do work with this data in field control formulas.

There are two kinds of fields that you can use in field control expressions: form fields and object type fields. Form fields refer to data from questions. Object type fields refer to data from contact profiles.
