Exchange mailbox migration

You can configure synchronization to support multiple Exchange servers. Each Exchange server that requires synchronization must be configured as a separate target in the Synchronization page of NexJ Admin Console. Synchronization targets for Exchange display in the Targets list along with targets of other types.

Users that are configured for synchronization on the Exchange target have three folders, or links, that point to folders in Exchange: Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts. The three logical links represent a user's mailbox and display under Links in the Synchronization page when the target is selected.

Migrating Exchange mailboxes for on-premise Exchange servers

You can migrate user mailboxes in Exchange from one on-premise Exchange server to another.

Exchange Server targets are generally configured to point to the Central Authentication Service (CAS) that supports multiple mailbox servers. In this migration scenario, mailbox migration from one Exchange server to another is transparent to NexJ CRM. No configuration changes are required for NexJ synchronization as long as the CAS can communicate with the servers hosting the migrated mailboxes.

Ensure that the Use Autodiscover Service option is enabled. For more information, see Configuring auto discovery settings.
