Editing flow templates

Edit a flow template when you want to makes changes to its details or form.

You cannot directly edit the object type of a flow template. If you need to change the object type, you can instead copy the flow template. When you copy a flow template, you can specify a different object type for the copied version.

Ensure that you have deactivated the template. You cannot modify active templates.

To edit a flow template:

Navigate to the Customize workspace.
Select the Form Library tab. A list of all flow templates is displayed on the left.
Right-click the flow template that you want to edit, then select Edit. The Edit Flow Template dialog opens.
In the Description field, enter a new name for the flow template.
Click OK to save your changes. The Edit Flow Template dialog closes.
In the Pages tab, make your desired changes to the form.
In the Flow tab, make your desired changes to the flow.

You have edited the flow template.

Before you can use the flow template, you must activate it.
