Object types

When you initially create a flow template, you must associate the template with a database object such as an address, contact, company, or opportunity.

The object type of a flow template determines the type of information from the database that the template has access to. For example, when you associate a flow template with the Address object, questions in the form can be bound only to address fields such as City and State.

You can associate a flow template with the following object types:

Activity Template
The flow template can access only fields from an activity template such as a schedule item or task.

Activity Plan Template
The flow template can access only fields from an activity plan template.

Address
The flow template can access only fields from an address.

Assignment Model
The flow template can access only fields from an assignment model such as Opportunity Team.

Assignment Role
The flow template can access only fields from a coverage role such as Advisor or Broker.

Associated Contact
The flow template can access only fields from an associated contact, including Affix, First Name, Goes By, Initials, Last Name, Position, and Title.

Business Process
The flow template can access only the Priority and Title fields from an instance of a business process.

Business Process Step

Call Script Template

Company
The flow template can access only fields from a company.

Contact
The flow template can access only fields from a contact.

Document
The flow template can access only the Notes and Title fields from a document in the Document Manager in NexJ CRM.

Entity
The flow template can access only fields from an entity.

Inbound Call
The flow template can access only fields related to the contact for an inbound call.

KYC
The flow template can access only fields from a KYC, including Description, Primary Bank Address, Primary Bank Name, and other fields relating to the contact for the KYC.

Lead
The flow template can access only fields from a lead.

Lead Call Script
The flow template can access only fields from a call script in the Lead Management tab in NexJ CRM.

Parent Opportunity
The flow template can access only the Title field from a parent opportunity.

Person
The flow template can access only fields from a person, including First Name, Last Name, and Title.

Product Opportunity
The flow template can access only the Title field from a product opportunity.

Task
The flow template can access only the Title field from a task.

User
The flow template can access only fields from a user, including First Name, Last Name, and other fields related to the contact for the user.

Work Queue
The flow template can access only the Name field from a work queue.
