Confirming calls on behalf of secondary contacts

When a caller is calling about another contact, you can confirm the call on behalf of the secondary contact and link the call information to both the caller and the contact the call is on behalf of.

Before starting this task, ensure that you have started an inbound call, and are in the Inbound Call workspace.
To confirm a call on behalf of a secondary contact:

  1. In the search area, find and select the contact record that matches the person the caller is calling about.
  2. In the On Behalf Of field, click Confirm.

The secondary contact is confirmed as the contact that the call is on behalf of.

You can switch between the contact records of the primary and secondary contacts by clicking their names in the Caller or On Behalf Of fields.
