Ending inbound calls

End your inbound call when the call script is completed. When you end a call, you select the call outcome and specify whether the service request related to the call should be closed or not.

Before starting this task, ensure that you are in the Inbound Call workspace and that the inbound call has been completed.

To end your inbound call:

  1. Click End Call. The Select Outcome dialog opens.

    Outcomes are configured in NexJ Admin Console. Contact your administrator to add or change the available outcomes for inbound calls.

  2. Select your desired outcome for the call and click OK.
    The Select Outcome dialog closes and the Service Request dialog opens.
  3. Choose one of the following:
    • To close the service request, click Yes.
    • To keep the service request open and add the information from the call to the service request, click No.
    • To cancel the command to end the call, click Cancel.
    The Service Request dialog closes.

The call is ended.
