Searching for callers

If you do not have an integrated telephony system, enter the caller's phone number, name, or date of birth to search for their contact record. With an integrated telephony system, the caller's information may be automatically populated using the incoming telephone number of the caller.

Before starting this task, ensure that you have started an inbound call, and are in the Inbound Call workspace.
To search for a caller's contact record:

1. In the Find incoming caller area, enter any combination of the following:

   • In the Phone field, enter the caller's phone number.

     Check with your administrator to confirm your company's phone number format.

   • In the Name field, enter the caller's first name and last name.
   • In the Date of Birth field, enter the caller's date of birth.
2. Click Find.

All matching contact records are displayed in the contact list.
