Modify the associations for a business process when you want to change the campaign, event, opportunity, product, service request, or account that the business process is associated to.
To modify associations in a business process:
- Navigate to the Contacts workspace to modify associations in a business process for a contact or company. Navigate to the Opportunities workspace to modify associations in a business process for an opportunity. Navigate to the Service Requests workspace to modify associations in a business process for a service request.
- Select the contact, company, opportunity, or service request for whom you want to modify a business process.
The record for the selected contact, company, opportunity, or service request is displayed. - Click the Business Processes tab.
A list of all business processes for the contact, company, opportunity, or service request is displayed. - Click the Action button for the business process whose associations you want to modify, then select Edit.
The Edit dialog opens. - Click the Related tab.
The current associations for the business process are displayed in the top area of the Related tab. - Make your desired changes to the associations.
- To add an association:
- Click Select beside the category that you want to create an association for. For service requests, click in the Service Request field.
- In the Select dialog, specify your desired association, then click OK.
- To modify an association:
- Click the name beside the category that you want to change an association for.
- In the Select dialog, specify your desired association, then click OK.
- To remove an association, right-click the name beside the category that you want to remove associations for, then select Remove.
Click OK to save the changes to the associations for the business process.
The Edit dialog closes.
Your changes to the associations for the business process are saved.
Filling out business process forms
