Modify attachments for a business process when you want to change the documents and images that are included in the business process. Attachments are used to provide additional information or context to a business process.
To modify attachments in a business process:
- Navigate to the Contacts workspace to modify attachments for a contact or company. Navigate to the Opportunities workspace to modify attachments for an opportunity. Navigate to the Service Requests workspace to modify attachments for a service request.
- Select the contact, company, opportunity, or service request for which you want to modify a business process.
The record for the selected contact, company, opportunity, or service request is displayed. - Click the Business Processes tab.
A list of all business processes for the contact, company, opportunity, or service request is displayed. - Click the Action button for the business process whose attachments you want to modify, then select Edit.
The Edit dialog opens. - Click the Attachments tab.
The current attachments for the business process are displayed. - Make your desired changes to the attachments.
- To add an attachment:
- Click the Add buttonand then click Browse.
- Select your desired attachment, then click Open.
- To replace an attachment:
- Click the Action button for the attachment that you want to replace, then select Replace.
- Click Browse.
- Select your desired attachment, then click Open.
- To remove an attachment, click the Action button for the attachment that you want to remove, then select Delete.
Click OK to save the changes to the attachments for the business process.
The Edit dialog closes.
Your changes to the attachments for the business process are saved. Users can now view the attachments in the Attachments tab for the business process.
