Managing stock interests
This topic applies only when Capital Markets functionality is enabled.
A stock interest is a security that a company or contact is interested in.
You identify securities as stock interests by adding them to a stock interests list for a company or contact. You can maintain multiple stock interests lists for a client. Stock interests lists belong to only one company or contact.
Use stock interests to discover opportunities for generating sales, research, or trading revenue. Search for the companies and contacts that are interested in a specific security using the Sector, Industry, Company, Ticker filter in the contacts panel on the left side of the Contacts workspace. You can also view stock interests in the Detail tab for a company or contact to ensure that you discuss the appropriate securities with a client.
Stock interests display in the Stock Interests subtab in the Detail tab for a company or contact. You can add, remove, and sort stock interests, and import a stock interests list for a company or contact.
