Adding activities to opportunities
You can add activities, such as tasks, schedule items, or documents, to an opportunity.

Activities can also be configured for opportunities as part of the opportunity template on the Customize workspace You can also edit and delete exiting activities related to opportunities, whether they were added to the opportunity directly or were added based on the opportunity template.
To add a new activity to an opportunity:
The activity is now added to the current stage of the opportunity.
After an activity has been added to the opportunity, you can take any of the following actions on the Activities tab:
- To modify the details of the activity, click the Action button and select Edit.
- To change the status of the activity to "complete", click the Action button and select Mark as Complete.
- To delete the activity, click the Action button and select Delete.
- To send an email regarding the activity, click the Action button and select Email.
- To add a call record to the activity, click the Action button and select Add Call Record.
