Opportunity management process
The opportunity management process enables you to create parent and product opportunities.

Before you start adding opportunities, your business administrator will have:
- Configured coverage groups
- Configured and activated parent and product opportunity templates
- Configured and activated opportunity products
The following diagram shows the high-level workflow for opportunity management.
You can create opportunities using the following methods:
- Qualify a lead into a parent or product opportunity
- Qualify a product within a parent opportunity to a product opportunity
- Create a parent or a product opportunity for a contact
After you have created the opportunity, you can add one or more products to the opportunity. Next, you will work with your team to close the opportunity, which includes communicating with contacts.
