Deleting contacts

Delete contacts from the Contacts workspace.

Activities associated with a deleted contact are not deleted. These are still accessible through the assigned user's Home workspace, or through an association to other contacts. In this case, the contact is still visible in the For field but can no longer be added to new activities. However, documents associated with the deleted contact are also deleted.

If you want to hide a contact from the system without permanently deleting the contact and its associated information, you can instead deactivate the contact.

To delete a contact:

  1. Navigate to the Contacts workspace.
  2. In the contacts list, click the Action button for the contact you want to delete, then select Delete.
  3. In the confirmation dialog that opens, click Delete.

The contact is deleted from NexJ CRM .
