Configuring entity types

An entity type represents the different kinds of persons and organizations in NexJ CRM. For example, contact, company, household, and fund are all entity types.

You can add new entity types or modify the properties of existing entity types at runtime. You can specify the objects that are associated with an entity type, for example, communication types, address types, categories, and custom field types. You can also specify icons and default settings for contacts created from the entity type in NexJ CRM.
