Modifying communication types for an entity type

You can specify the available communication types for contacts created from the entity type in NexJ CRM. You can also specify the default communication types that display in the Communications zone of the Add dialog.

You can assign any communication type that has been created in the Communication Types tab in the Entity Codes page in NexJ Admin Console.

To modify an entity type's available communication types:

  1. Navigate to the Entity Codes page.
  2. In the Entity Types tab, in the Communication Types subtab, click the Select button 
    The Select Communication Types dialog opens.
  3. In the list on the left side of the dialog, select the communication types that you want to make available to the entity type and click AddYour selections are added to the list of available communication types on the right side of the dialog.
  4. [Optional] To specify the default communication types that display in the Add dialog for the entity type, select the corresponding Pre-Populate checkboxes.
  5. Click OKThe Select Communication Types dialog closes.
  6. Click the Save button 
    .

The selected communication types are made available to assign to the entity type in NexJ CRM.
