Microsoft Exchange Server

This section describes known issues that pertain to Microsoft Exchange Server and synchronization.

AFL-2773

When you create a meeting in Microsoft Outlook, the Schedule workspace does not display the meeting until you manually refresh the browser.

AFL-4170

If your deployment of NexJ CRM uses the Hierarchical Access Model to manage its access control, and a user set up with Microsoft Exchange creates and delegates a task without putting any contact information in the For field, then the user will not be able to see that task after its creation.

Workaround:
Ensure that users set up with Microsoft Exchange always populate the For field, when creating delegated tasks.

ECRM-28463

NexJ Add-In for Microsoft Office does not support the use of the single quote character (') in emails as expected but NexJ CRM does support using the single quote character. Use of internationalized email addresses (for example, "hei@やる.ca" ) is not supported by NexJ Add-In or NexJ CRM.

ECRM-29227

When Microsoft Exchange synchronization is configured with NexJ CRM, and you add attachments in Microsoft Outlook that exceed the size limit of 2 MB, the attachments do not synchronize with NexJ CRM.

ECRM-30336

Some tasks created in Microsoft Outlook with an email attachment may be synchronized inbound with the email attachment omitted from NexJ CRM.

ECRM-30619

When you create a meeting in Microsoft Outlook, and edit the meeting on the Schedule workspace in NexJ CRM, the send email notifications prompts behavior is inconsistent, as shown by the following examples:

    • When you create a meeting with two attendees (an internal advisor with a NexJ CRM account and an external contact without a NexJ CRM account or record [for example, thomas@hotmail.com]), and edit the meeting in NexJ CRM, the Send Email Notifications dialog displays with the following radio button options: Email added and removed attendees and Email all attendees.
    • When you create a meeting with one attendee (an internal advisor with a NexJ CRM account), and edit the meeting in NexJ CRM, the Send Email Notifications dialog displays with the following radio button options: Email all attendees and Do not email attendees.
    • When you create a meeting with one attendee who is an external contact without a NexJ CRM account or record (for example, thomas@hotmail.com), and edit the meeting in NexJ CRM, the Send Email Notifications dialog does not display.

Instead, for each of these examples, the Send Email Notifications dialog should display with the following radio button options:

    • Email all attendees
    • Do not email attendees
