New features included in 26.02

Graph API enhancements

In the earlier 25.11 CRM release, we introduced the Beta support for Microsoft Graph API, the interface used to maintain synchronization of calendar items and contacts with Exchange Online. This Graph API Beta version was intended for QA in lower, non-production environments. In this release, we are adding more functional and technical enhancements that are necessary to enable Graph API synchronization in Production.

The following is a high-level list of new enhancements introduced:

  • Batch migration of synchronization links from Exchange Online EWS to Graph API targets for multiple users (CRM-4130)

  • Responding to user subscription lifecycle updates from Graph API

  • Extended support for recurring series (inbound and outbound), including exceptions

  • Extended support for attachments (inbound and outbound), including on the recurring series and exceptions

  • Support for large attachments (up to 150MB)

  • Inbound snapshot of Schedule Items

  • Outbound snapshot of Schedule Items and Contacts

  • Performance statistics for key Graph API metrics such as number of connections, queue depth, and number of errors, are displayed in NexJ System Admin Console (CRM-3764, CRM-3765)

  • Attendee responses for meetings synchronized via Microsoft Graph API are now reflected in CRM (CRM-5625). As invitees accept, tentatively accept, or decline in Outlook, their response status is updated on the Attendees tab in CRM, giving users a consistent view of who is attending.

  • The automatic invocation of inbound and outbound snapshots as a part of user link migration process was disabled (CRM-6074). This is done in order to avoid a potential performance overhead. Performing a snapshot is not expected to be required for the migration of user synchronization links from EWS to Graph API.

  • An initial pilot project, followed by a gradual migration of users' configuration from EWS to Graph API, is recommended.

  • The synchronization of Tasks (To Dos) using Graph API is not yet supported.

  • Existing synchronization functionality with Exchange Online, which is currently supported by the EWS interface, is not affected by these enhancements.

Opportunity enhancements

Opportunity previews now available

A preview pane is now available in the Opportunities workspace local_atm_24dp_1F1F1F.png (CRM-3993) and on the Opportunities tab on contact, household, and company records (CRM-5889). When you click the row with an opportunity, you will see a concise summary with key details such as the opportunity name, “for” contact, owner, stage, priority, campaign (when applicable), expected or actual amount and close date, outcome, and notes. This lets users review the most important information without opening a separate screen and losing the context of their work.

Global search results now include opportunities

When you look for any information in NexJ CRM using the Search functionality button search_24dp_1F1F1F.png on the application tab, opportunities are now included in the results (CRM-5490). You can use the Opportunities filter to limit the results to just opportunities and you can click on the result to see the preview, so you can quickly decide whether to open that record.

Support multiple opportunities for batch actions

Batch communications, such as sending an email, printing a birthday mailer, or printing a document, now support linking multiple opportunities to a single communication (CRM-5370). This makes it easier to reflect all relevant opportunities for a client, without creating duplicate items.

Accessibility enhancements

Keyboard support for the Schedule workspace (Month view)

Keyboard navigation has been enhanced in the Schedule workspace for the Month view (CRM-5536). Users can now move between the zones (calendar, user list, toolbar, and time slots) using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys. To navigate within each zone, users can use the up, down, left, and right arrow keys. This improves accessibility and efficiency for users who prefer or require keyboard interaction.

Keyboard support for date pickers

The date picker dialog now provides more predictable keyboard navigation and clearer support for screen readers (CRM-1849).

Ongoing accessibility improvements

This version of NexJ CRM includes multiple accessibility improvements aimed at achieving WCAG 2.0/2.1 Level A compliance when used with NVDA (CRM-5624). Changes across key workspaces improve keyboard navigation, focus handling, labels, and screen reader announcements, making it easier for users who rely on assistive technologies to navigate, understand, and operate the application.

Other usability enhancements

Updated country names

Country names have been updated to reflect current ISO 3166 standards (CRM-3966). Users can now enter and see modern country names (for example, “North Macedonia,” “Eswatini,” “Türkiye,” “Czechia,” and “Libya”) consistently across profiles, filters, imports, and reports, while all underlying data remains intact.

Viewing mixin version information from the NexJ CRM interface

You can now see detailed mixin version information when you select About NexJ CRM from the User settings menu in NexJ CRM (CRM-3290). The new “Repository Mixin Information” section, alongside the primary model details, gives administrators and support staff a single place to confirm which modules are deployed and which versions are running.

Enhancements to anniversary-style filters

Filters on anniversary-style date fields (such as Birthday, Wedding Anniversary, and Client Anniversary) have been enhanced so that “not equals” and “does not contain” conditions now include records where the date is not set (CRM-488). If users filter for dates that should be excluded, then contacts, companies, and households with no value for that field are correctly included in the results, giving them a more complete and intuitive list for targeting and reporting.

Ongoing Material Design updates

The NexJ CRM user interface continues to be refreshed to align with the most recent Material Design guidelines (CRM-5882). Users will notice more consistent rounded corners on cards, dialogs, buttons, menus, and navigation elements, clearer focus indicators, and updated control styling that keeps the application looking current while preserving the familiarity and usability of the existing layouts.

Support for large attachments

Attachments larger than 3MB are now supported (CRM-5425).

Reporting enhancements

Subject area association captions now support string IDs in the same way as subject areas and subject area attributes (CRM-2600). This allows administrators and implementers to define captions such as ids.customFields for associations, so captions can be localized and managed centrally across the application instead of using hard-coded text.

Technology enhancements

The automation framework now supports a configurable global delay between UI actions (CRM-5952). Test authors can set a static delay in milliseconds that applies across an entire automated script, which helps avoid timing issues and stale element errors when working with third‑party or non‑AFL applications, without adding explicit sleeps at every step.

Property

Description

Default value

uitest.hangTestFail

If set to true, the automation will stop on a failure and hang the test thread.  This allows debugging of browser and application server at a failure point.

-Dnexj.uitest.hangTestFail=true

false

uitest.staticDelay

Adds a static delay in milliseconds between each action.  This is to help with debugging or help setting a baseline delay for working with third party applications.  Generally recommended to not exceed 500ms due to its impact on overall test run times. If more delay is needed, seek alternatives.

-Dnexj.uitest.slow=50

Security, integration, and automation upgrades

  • The Java 17 runtime used by NexJ CRM has been upgraded to version 17.0.17+10 (CRM-5568).

  • Apache Tomcat has been upgraded to version 9.0.113 (released by the Apache Software Foundation on December 7, 2025) (CRM-5578).
