Mobile application

You can use your tablet to access NexJ Customer Relationship Management and interact with real-time enterprise CRM information. NexJ CRM gives you access to the integrated data available on the desktop version of NexJ CRM so that you can manage customer information from your tablet device.

NexJ CRM provides the following functionality on your tablet:

  • View opportunity dashboards
  • Search, view, and manage contacts, households, and companies
  • View the interaction journal and financial accounts and holdings for your contacts
  • View and manage your schedule and view users' schedules
  • View and manage your tasks
  • Conduct conversations with users
  • View and manage your opportunities
  • Manage your call records

You can access NexJ CRM using your tablet's web browser.

Logging into NexJ CRM on tablets

Use your tablet's web browser to access NexJ CRM.

To log into NexJ CRM:

  1. In your tablet's browser, enter the URL that your administrator provided for accessing NexJ CRM.
    The Authentication Required dialog opens.
  2. Enter your login credentials in the User Name and Password fields

  3. Touch Log In.

You are now logged into NexJ CRM.

NexJ CRM on tablets functionality overview

NexJ CRM contains the following workspaces:

Dashboards

Contains interactive dashboards that summarize key sales pipeline information.

Contacts

Provides an overview of the personal details, activities, and accounts for your contacts. The workspace is divided into the following pages that you access by touching the corresponding page button at the top of the workspace:

Profile

Displays personal information, recent notes, related conversations, relationships, service levels, communications, and addresses for your contacts. The page also displays the contact banner and dashboard badges. Dashboard badges are icons that appear in the contact banner to visually indicate information about the selected contact. For example, an administrator can configure dashboard badges that represent tiers of clients.

Journal

Displays the interaction history for your contacts and allows you to filter activities by type, status, and date.

Portfolio

Displays financial accounts and holdings for your contacts and allows you to filter by type or status.

Opportunities

Displays associated opportunities for your contacts.

Schedule

Provides an overview of your schedule, as well as the schedules of other users, and allows you to add and edit schedule items. You can access four schedule time periods in the workspace using the Day, Week, Workweek, and Month tabs.

Tasks

Provides an overview of your tasks and allows you to delegate tasks to other users. You can access two task sets in the workspace using the My Tasks and My Delegated Tasks tabs.

My Opportunities

Provides an overview of all opportunities that you have access to.

Conversations

Provides an overview of your conversations with other users. The workspace is divided into the conversations list on the left and the conversation details on the right.

Navigating NexJ CRM on a tablet

Navigate NexJ CRM on your tablet using standard touchscreen interactions such as touching and swiping.

Selecting workspaces and pages

Navigate between workspaces using the Workspace Selector . To select a workspace, touch the Workspace Selector , then touch the name of the workspace to navigate to.

Some workspaces contain pages that categorize information in the workspace. Navigate between pages using the page buttons at the top of a workspace. To select a page, touch the button for that page. For example, in the Contacts workspace, touch the Profile button to navigate to the selected contact's profile page.

Displaying and scrolling lists

Some workspaces contain lists that you interact with to choose what information to display. For example, the Contacts workspace displays a list of your contacts. Your tablet's orientation determines how lists display:

  • In landscape orientation, lists always display on the left side of a workspace.
  • In portrait orientation, lists do not display by default. To display a list, swipe to the right. To hide a list, swipe to the left.

Scroll lists using vertical swipe gestures. To scroll down in a list, swipe up within the list area. To scroll up in a list, swipe down within the list area. When you reach the bottom of a list, and if additional list items are available, the More button displays. To view the additional items, touch the More button, then continue to scroll down.
